Naperville, IL (October 23, 2024) – A tragic car accident in Naperville on Wednesday night resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman after her vehicle went into a pond.
The crash occurred around 8 p.m. near South Naper Boulevard and Hobson Road when a Nissan Kicks, driven by the victim, was struck by a Ford Bronco operated by a 17-year-old Naperville resident.
Following the collision, the Nissan was partially submerged, and the woman was transported to a hospital, where she later died.
The Naperville Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the crash, and further details are pending. The condition of the other driver involved remains unknown.
