About Joliet
Joliet, Illinois is a city located 40 miles south of Chicago in Will County. Joliet is the third-largest city in Illinois with a population of around 150,000 people. Founded in 1833, Joliet was named after a 17th-century French Canadian explorer, Louis Jolliet.
