Tragic: 2 Women Killed, 2 Others Hurt in Irving Woods Crash, Chicago Police Say

Chicago, IL (December 15, 2024) – Tragedy struck on Chicago’s Northwest Side early Sunday morning when a violent crash claimed the lives of two women and left others injured. The collision involved multiple vehicles on the 8700 block of West Irving Park Road.

What Happened?

According to reports, a 29-year-old man driving a red sedan crashed into a black SUV with three women inside. Two of those women, aged 30 and 56, succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, while a 23-year-old passenger survived. The crash also involved a gray sedan, whose driver escaped unharmed. Police suspect the SUV may have been turning across the red sedan’s lane.
