Semi-Truck Crash on Bishop Ford Expressway Seriously Injures Four, Including Three Children

Chicago, IL (October 21, 2024) – On Monday morning, a serious accident occurred on the northbound lanes of the Bishop Ford Expressway near 115th Street in Chicago, involving a semi-truck and a car. 

Around 8:51 a.m., the semi collided with the car for unknown reasons, leaving four people, including three children, with serious injuries.

All victims were rushed to nearby hospitals for emergency care.

The Illinois State Police (ISP) temporarily closed all northbound lanes following the crash. 

By 9:50 a.m., all lanes were reopened for traffic.
