At Walner Law, we are fortunate to have an incredible team of dedicated individuals who are committed to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. In this employee spotlight, we highlight Kathryn McShane, our Pre-Litigation Paralegal.

A pre-litigation paralegal is a legal professional who provides support to attorneys and clients in the period leading up to a lawsuit. The job duties of a pre-litigation paralegal at Walner Law include drafting legal documents, managing case files, and assisting with trial preparation.

Kathryn grew up in Colorado Springs, CO, with her one brother, who is expecting her first niece in a month. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and completed a paralegal certificate program at the College of DuPage.

When asked why she chose to pursue a career in the legal field, Kathryn stated, “I want to help people who are going through a tough time, and I have always found the legal field interesting and complex.”

After completing her education, Kathryn joined Walner Law as a Pre-Litigation Paralegal. When asked why she chose Walner Law, Kathryn responded, “I was drawn to the tight-knit community that Walner Law promotes.”

In her free time, Kathryn enjoys reading, working on puzzles, and being creative. When asked about her favorite aspect of her job, Kathryn stated, “I enjoy helping and supporting people and working through those challenges to come to a solution.”
